NIHR funding awarded to BDEP Trial
The BDEP trial, investigating tDCS for bipolar depression, has been awarded funding by the NIHR Health Technology Assessment.
Led by Professor Cynthia Fu and supported by a multi-institution team, the study will evaluate the real-world effectiveness of home-delivered tDCS across NHS settings.
Trial period: August 2025 - July 2028
